I am only repeating what was said to me hundreds of times by many different trainers when I was coming up. I was young at the time and thought that I really knew how to fight. Im talking when I had like 15 fights or so. You can say what you want smokin', but if I would have stepped up at that time I would have been riding home in the meat wagon. Tell me smokin', what first hand experience do you have with professional fighting. Where do you find such knowledge and wisdom, certainly I hope its not only from the inter net.

You talk about making money? They wont make much fighting 4 rounders. With your wisdom Smokin', how much do you think that they would bring home after fighting a four round fight?

What I said is fully the truth. Going pro with that little experience is dangerous, plain and simple. Unless you have the people with the proper connections your going to be in for a really rough ride. It is their choice to turn pro if they want to. I just hope that they think it through carefully because boxing in the pros is not a game, you can be seriously injured or even killed. I say take the time to prepare properly for the big show. Because once that bell rings, aint no time outs or hold ons man. Somebody will go down.

My first pro fight I fought a guy like that. Granted, he was older but did not spend the time in the amatuers. The announcers from the telecast mentioned the difference in skill level between us, we may have boxed a minute by then. Seconds later he was seated on the ring apron, his right glove clasping a rope to keep him from falling form that apron. I headed immediately to a neutral corner.

If you dont have good people around you then you may find yourself gasping for air, in a place that is in no way familiar.

I cant say that Ive seen a little leauge homerun king jump to the majors.

Remind me if I ever become a fighter that I dont want SMOKIN as my trainer or manager!

Its also hard to get alot of fights during 14-18 because of high school im putting my education first and making sure i get that first instead of rushing ahead thinking i'l make it big and **** up and have nothing to fall back on
