... yes: when GGG is 40 or when he is just announcing his retirement... and then Canelo will proclaim GGG a pure duck, right?

Creating imaginary weight classes and ducking the boogeyman in GGG plummets his stock. Cowards like Canelo make the entire sport look bad! Those are the type Trump should deport immediately!!

“The fight will happen. ... Down the line, one day,”
That definitely doesn't sound like September. Hell That don't sound like 2017 necessarily.

“It’s a very important moment, a very important victory, because the sport needs a face of boxing now that Manny and Floyd are retired”

“People want to see fights -- and the people who don’t follow boxing very closely will still watch the big fights. They want to see Saul.

“He will provide intrigue, bringing people to the sport. MMA is stealing fans from boxing. We’ve got to bring them back. Another victory allows Saul to fill that gap left by Manny and Floyd to help the sport.”
MMA is stealing fans cuz the UFC creates names by matching up guys competitively & the cream always rising to the top whoever ends up winning. Boxing tries to force its stars upon fans. Fans don't like ***** forced upon them in this day & age. There are 8 billion f#cking things to do at any given time. If you aren't showing the best of something whatever you are doing people will go entertain themselves watching the best of some other thing that is providing a quality product to them. This is such basic ***** I'm amazed boxing is still widely in denial about this type of *****.

LOL, but I could for sure see this going down. If Wade magically were to drop GGG twice in the upcoming fight yet lose or somehow makes it interesting & drops a split or bs decision September will start looking a whole lot better & for sure it'd go down in May if there is already a plan in play for September.

This is the part I hate about boxing. Sometimes they don't make the "big fight" til one guy has shown some *****s in his armor.

Boxing needs a centralized power structure running things sooooooooo f#cking bad. Guys (boxers, promoters, managers, networks, alphabet groups, commissions) will always take advantage of things they can when a sport has such a wild wild west atmosphere to it. Boxing needs a real power structure to it thats about that power structure looking out for boxing 24/7/365 not Canelo looking out for Canelo or Arum looking out for Arum or Haymon looking out for Haymon. I wish Mark Cuban would get the boxing bug & come into the sport with his $3B + investors money to take over. I dig PBC, but Haymon spends too much time hiding in the closet. Boxing desperately needs a leader who's willing to lead.

Fans flock to the UFC because Dana White may be a tool, but he doesn't allow fighters to make up weight divisions and bring guys up to maintain an advantage while ducking other fighters.

It's now on GGG's team. Force the belt to be vacated because you're never getting a shot and you look like side chicks believing your man will one day leave his woman for you.
