It's the whole way they've managed this anyone from 154 -168 but then specifically refuse/demand catch weights where there is perceived risk. They can't see around the corner as to how this is being perceived. It may be rational on a case by case basis but in terms of the big picture they are making their fighter look like a punk ass.

The problem is that the critics expect GGG to completely bend over for any fighter from 154-168. Ignore the fact you've invested 2 years into becoming Canelo's mandatory and take the fight at 155. Give Ward half the money and a 10+lb weight advantage even though his only fight in the last 2 years was against 30-something-ranked Paul Smith in front of 300k on BET. Forget the fact that Lara put on a lousy show against Canelo in a PPV fight, holds no belt at MW, and brings no fans. Go up to 168 and beat Ward to get a shot at going back down to 154 to fight Floyd. I understand the need to make sacrifices to get the fights, but expectations like this are ridiculous.

People have got to stop comparing Pac to Golovkin. It's an idiotic comparison. Moving up 2 lbs per division as you're growing is vastly different from moving up 8 lbs when you're 30.
More so you need incentive to move up. He has none. He'd have to negotiate with Haymon, overpay his opponents from his own pocket and grab 400k viewers on HBO.

        It's a ****** career move.

So is ducking Canelo, and thinking that being a paper champ is better.
