Only by obsessed fux. Head-to-head doesn't always determine who'll be historically remembered as better. But, Floyd and Manny are pretty much the same age. Technically Floyd is older. So the notion that Floyd was closer to his physicals prime than Manny when they fought doesn't hold water. And even without the head-to-head match-up, a very logical argument can be made that Floyd's resume is better. So its really a moot point now. The only way Manny could make a claim is of he went on a Bernard Hopkins like post 40 career. Hopkins lost to Roy Jones. And to me that gives Roy the nod as for best of the era. But Hopkins remained relevant and winning at a high level so much longer than Roy. A legit argument can be made that he overtook Roy, despite the head-to-head loss. But Manny has a long way to go before that discussion can even begin.

Holding Pac to a 18% connect rate definitely is impressive. I acknowledge that. Of course that happened.

But if Mayweather's connect rate is low as well, what the hell kind of "fight" is that?
I don't remember hearing any noise from the crowd from the big Mayweather combinations, or when Floyd landed some huge shots that rocked and hurt Manny. Never happened.

The fight ****** and yes I do have a personal problem with that. Floyd chose the safe route instead of making his mark. That performance was not big deal to me and 100's of millions of others. People don't fill stadiums to watch defensive battles in any sport.

Everything you said was correct. Floyd's amazing skills pulled Manny into that type of fight. Here's the thing, Floyd didn't really land very many significant blows because of his safe approach. And Manny, I believe, fought a very good defensive fight. Many of Floyd's punches glanced or were picked off by Manny.
To me the score was never settled, other than Floyd is better at dictating the pace and fighting cautiously to pull out a win instead of beating his opponent decisively.

As far as Bradley is concerned, he's a shot fighter, his once good chin, is now suspect. Any top 3 WW should stop him. Crawford's people should set him up to fight Bradley, he's ripe for the picking and it's a win that will catapult him to the top of the division with no risk whatsoever. Easy payday

This is nonsense coming from someone who doesn't know much about boxing.

1. Floyd dictated the pace of the fight, and made Manny fight his way instead of the way he wanted to. It's called ring generalship. Floyd landed more and controlled basically the entire fight, that alone wins him the fight, even without Manny hitting him with many clean shots.

2. I do not see where you are getting that bradley is shot. At what point was he shot? After the provo fight? After he clearly beat Marquez? When vargas landed 1 (ONE) good punch and has since acted like the fight was close? When he was the first to stop Rios?

3. Newsflash, Bradley has never had a granite chin. Bradley has been knocked down many times in his career and hurt as well. He just has more heart than any fighter of this modern era to fight no matter what. The man doesn't have quit in his vocabulary. Manny knocked him down twice. Bradley also buzzed Manny. It's called boxing, and it happens to every single fighter that has been, or ever will be. Bradley was not ever in trouble of being stopped in the fight. He looked just fine and without the knockdowns, I had several swing rds and a very close fight.

Like others have said, and I have replied...you KNOW or SHOULD KNOW that's how Floyd fights. It's not in his job description to please you with a back and forth fight. This is why it's called boxing and not "fighting". The guy has seen enough boxers with brain issues that he's smart enough to be able to now enjoy his life, money, and most importantly...health.
