I'm surprised you gave him 4...

Pac did worse vs Floyd than most of the guys Floyd has fought... It was honestly a full on out-classing of a great fighter. The way Pac was hitting air was almost Baldomir like. Sucks that Pac didn't KO Floyd but looking at how this loss has been so hard for some people (lol) it makes you kind of glad you don't have to hear them had Pac had won...

Mayweather was always a horrendous matchup for Pacquiao. Not only that, but Pac hadn't faced anyone (at their peak or at least not so far off) that could match his speed and had defense. Sure, it was by design but still... Watching Pac fight Brandon Rios or Magarito is fun but it does nothing to prepare you for Mayweather. Pac hadnt seen anything like Mayweather or even close to it. Floyd had already fought bigger, faster, stronger, more aggressive, and better skilled fighters than Pac. Even if they didnt all have it in the same package, he's seen it all one way or another. Pac had barely seen dudes who didn't mindlessly come forward...and it showed. We saw Pac practically flailing his arms about and crossing his feet just trying to get the end of his glove to touch mayweather...

I will ALWAYS choose a Pac fight over a Mayweather one out of sheer entertainment but I can admit he's not in the same class. pac is a top 5 WW (he could never be number 2 either as JMM is better...) Floyd is number 1. Always been that way... As much as we hate it

          Pretty obvious really.

Mayweather performed better against better competition.

And Mayweather fought guys who Pacquiao would never dare face.

Pac is still a great fighter, just not as great as Mayweather.

Respect to Hatton for telling it like it is. Floyd beat Pacquiao head to head so there is no question who the best fighter of this era was.

I wish they could have fought when both were younger but Floyd did all he could: he had agreed to a purse split, gloves, and ring size when Pacquiao walked away from negotiations just because he didn't want to do random drug testing with no cutoff dates.

The sport of boxing took a big hit for it. And Manny lived happily ever after with his family his legions of friends and the millions of people in his country. Floyd in spite of this let down and rip off cannot be denied as being on of the best of his generation. We don't know if he will live happily ever after though.
Ironically, last week Bradley "ran" wayyyyyyyyy more than Floyd did in his fight with Manny. Manny had no trouble catching up with him and beating him convincingly. If what Floyd did against Manny was so easy to duplicate, why wasn't Bradley ad successful?

BTW, Floyd actually didn't even move that much against Manny. For the most part, he stood right in front of Manny, making him miss. And for whatever reason, as the fight wore on, Manny became reluctant to throw. An educated guess on my part says the reluctance came from Floyd's ability to successfully counter him. Also, most of Manny's limited offensive success came from him countering Floyd. So my guess is that he kinda fell into the mental trap of wanting Floyd to lead.

In depth, pacquiao fought far more primed fighters aside from De la hoya and mosley and came from fly weight...Regardless, at 140 that was rickys weight, he was undefeated. stop it ricky, let it go. lol Thats why floyd couldn't hurt Berto even ONCE and manny put a top 15 p4p fighter in Bradley down twice... And looked better than floyd did when he was 37, ricky stop. The fact that manny got KTFO and came back strong while making Money run from him while he only had one arm says ALOT about manny Pacquiao as an all around fighter.
Hatton got beat by Floyd over 11 rounds in a competitive fight. Hatton got embarrassed in front of his people in less than 2 rounds by Pac. He turned to ******* and was in a deep state of depression after that fight. I think it's more resentment because of how devastating he was ruined for good.
The guy could not do anything against Pac and absorbed heavy devastating punches from the first second of the fight until he almost was killed in the ring.

If you thought Mayweather-Hatton was competitive. You have a severe lack of knowledge as to how to score a professional prize fight.
