It is kinda funny we got folks on here saying HBO is running outta that cizash to pay for fights and that PBC is paying that top dollar and then we see that Spence is only gettng $225k this weekend and Algieri $325k.

Guys like Walters are turning down $500k for Lomachenko yet Haymon fighters think that is a good payday with guys like Rocky Martinez and Javier Fortuna already agreeing to fight for that money while they have nothing on the table with PBC.

We already saw khan, wade and arroyo come up for upcoming fights to get that hbo payday.

Thoughts on this influx of haymon fighters coming for that government cheese and also thoughts on guys like walters turning it down when apparently the grass isn't greener on the other side.

PBC running out of money not only is the purses way down compared to the NBC cards last year but according to Dan Rafael who tweeted just a day ago NBC has cut their entire broadcast team. No more Marv albert, Bob costas, AL michaels, sugar ray, ect. Fewer pbc shows, almost all haymon fighters going back to showtime, all the on air talent is leaving, the purses are dropping. Money is clearly an issue.

Why is Spence who has no fan base headlining a card on frigging NBC prime time in the first place? Last year you had these cards headlined with Thurman, Broner, Wilder, ect. This is a fight that would of been on a under card last year but pbc can't afford the headliners of last year so that's why they putting the cheaper prospect Spence who doesn't command as much money. PBC is cutting costs because money is becoming an issue

You think that is bad? Spence has been getting ~75k to ~150k for his last few fights. This is a career high payday for him. Aligeri got 500k for Khan, but Khan is a bigger name so a drop for him makes sense here vs a guy who's still more a prospect than a contender or former champ like Khan.

he got 1.5 for pac. his promoters pocketed the other 1.5 i think that is why he is having all these issues. the b side on nbc pbc main events used to get well over 1mil now th3 4 fighters in main and co-main arent making ovver a mil between all 4 this is hbo B.A.d. level
