I believe I heard 2m as Laras asking price. Makes sense since they got 1m for buma$$ Delvin. Even 1m stretches the HBO budget for such a no hoper, anything beyond and you gotta go ppv.
Ward was a guy that outgrew SMW, while Ggg makes MW with ease. So 10lb+ diff fight night, hence the need to bulk up for Ggg. I do think Ggg has a decent chance but he wouldn't be favored, depending on how Ward looks in his comeback. Didn't look that sharp vs Gggs sparring partner last time out
