Well I'm not one those. Marquez won the 4th fight convincingly with memo by his side though, but yes that was a Marquez win.

Maybe so but that's pretty depressing for the state of boxing that the sport can't move forward without 2 40 year olds rematching each other over and over again.

Yes,, but at a smaller price tag in terms of PPv and tickets...

                If leonard-duran had a 3rd matchup, no reason why we couldn't have a 2nd floyd-manny

                    1. Both are old
                    2. None of them are competing for the sport
                    3. It has no impact on any of the rankings
                    4. Both are millionaires set for life
                    5. Both are past prime
                    6. Both have adapted their style to suit their age
                    7. They both have a ton of wear and tear on their bodies
                    8. Neither guy has scored a legitimate KO since 2009 (Pac over Cotto)

So it's not going to be an exciting fight, it's not going to be a relevant fight, it's basically a cash grab that once again takes advantage of boxing's casual fanbase that only cares about names.

These casual fans are going to buy into this fight, it will be even more boring and boxing will be the butt of all jokes once again.

So my answer is, no there shouldn't be a rematch. Resources need to be used to build fights like Postol/Crawford, Garcia/Thurman, Wilder and Joshua/Fury, Kovalev/Ward, GGG/Canelo, etc. before UFC wipes boxing off the map which seems more and more like a reality as these fights aren't getting done.
                    The man said it all!!
Pacquiao hasn't been the Pacquiao everyone wanted to see vs Floyd, since Margarito!! Pacquiao vs Mosley was the start of his sluggish style he has now in 2011. So you count that THAT is now ALMOST 5 to 6 years since he's been "great"

Floyd is freaken 40 years old now too LOL. It's just having your dad fight your dad now, with both of them nothing to gain nor prove. The May Pac mega fight showed theres no more fire or prime left for both to give what we always wanted from them in the ring.
