    4. Both are millionaires set for life
    5. Both are past prime
    6. Both have adapted their style to suit their age
    7. They both have a ton of wear and tear on their bodies
    8. Neither guy has scored a legitimate KO since 2009 (Pac over Cotto)

So it's not going to be an exciting fight, it's not going to be a relevant fight, it's basically a cash grab that once again takes advantage of boxing's casual fanbase that only cares about names.

These casual fans are going to buy into this fight, it will be even more boring and boxing will be the butt of all jokes once again.

So my answer is, no there shouldn't be a rematch. Resources need to be used to build fights like Postol/Crawford, Garcia/Thurman, Wilder and Joshua/Fury, Kovalev/Ward, GGG/Canelo, etc. before UFC wipes boxing off the map which seems more and more like a reality as these fights aren't getting done.
You can also add Both could beat any of the top 10 WW's right now in their current state.

Exactly, that's why the only fight that make sense is with each other.

        Touché'

Tell you this much.. If Floyd wins, without clinching like his life defended on it with no IVS to save his ass. I'll give him his props.

But, till then he hasn't earned his stripes.

Look at the fear on this man's eyes. Tells you everything really.

Mayweather and Pacquiao's past prime condition is still better than their fellow prime junior welters and welterweights. It's true that they have seen better days and they are relatively old for athletes, late 30s is always old in any sport except for golf. But they are past their best and their best was legendary, now they are just normally great. Their performances are no longer legendary, they are just great performances. But great always beats good, the rest of these guys are good, but Mayweather and Pacquiao are just greater. They probably have like 2 years each until father time actually catches up and they become average due to age and complete loss of reflexes.

I would really like to see him face Danny Garcia. I think Danny would be made to order for Manny. I think Manny would have a great shot to shut that f**ker out.
Actually I also want to see Pac fight the young lions of the game, but the thing is it's really time to hang up the gloves.

If there is one fight worthy to fight for legacy and closure. It's the Floyd fight. I know what you meant by 6 years too late he's not the human fireball anymore.

But once he leaves for good.. You'd want him to fight one more time and wish damn I wish Pac and May had a rubber match. They're the 2 best fighters of this generation. One more would have been great to see.

Besides. To me it can't get any worse than the last fight. It's only up and up from here on out.

That is if Floyd has the cohonez to do a part 2 (which I highly doubt), if not then Pac should retire and enjoy his incredible legacy that he gave us boxing fans.

If I were a Mayweather fan I would say yes, just to see Floyd beat Manny again, but whats strange is most Floyd fans don't want the rematch you would think they would get off on Floyd beating Pac again, maybe because they saw how close that first fight was, I remember watching it with some floyd fans and they were nervous before the cards were read, they were like Floyd sr saying dont fight scared let your hands go son, and when Floyd got the decision and the crowd booed they say yeah I knew it Floyd schooled him lol. The only thing that bugs me is they lie to themselves, you can not get mad at people who say Pac won, but what bugs me is the floyd fans who act like Floyd destroyed and exposed Pac, its like wtf fight did you watch at least be honest and stop exaggerating that fight was a close boring and competitive fight if there is a take away its Pac was more difficult than you thought, I remember Floyd fans saying Pac had no defense, if JMM ko Pac, imagine what Floyd would do? well Floyd didnt do jack **** man, his own papa said so in the corner. And people Floyd didnt Gatti, Manny, I thought he would too and the fight stunk, Floyd was the one responsible to excite he had a washed up one armed fighter who just got knocked out cold yet fought cautious.

I personally dont think the fight will be any different to be honest, its going to be boring, only time I wanted to see it was back in 2010 before Pac slowed down and got knocked out.

True appreciation of a sport is not only in the ring.. There is much going in and out of it. Thanks for enjoying it.
