Bro, this fight took place many months ago. Why are you bringing this up now?

I agree man. Mayweather ain't no draw.

3 highest selling fights of all time involve Floyd Mayweather, he he ain't a draw.

Floyd did 1.5 with Cotto, 2.2 with Canelo, but that's because Canelo and Cotto. That's why they sold.

So that's the reason why when Canelo and Cotto fought each other they didn't break 1 million buys.

That's the same reason, Oscar, Pacquaio, Hatton, Mosley, Canelo, Cotto all did their highest numbers when they fought Floyd. Because THEY are the draws, not Floyd. It's not because they're fighting Floyd that all those fights were there best selling fights.

And I agree Floyd definitely needs a name to sell, like when he did 1.2 with Ortiz, 900 k with Guererro and Maidana.

          Verdict - NOT A DRAW

Well that's a bit over the top now isn't it.

Where did you get your numbers though? Floyds marketing team lol

He didn't do 550k for Berto and that's proven and I highly doubt the true numbers for Ortiz and Guerrero where that high.

Floyd-Ortiz numbers were released by HBO.

Floyd-Guererro numbers were released by Stephen Espinoza.

Floyd did 500k against a guy who wasn't ranked in the top 20.

Your opening post states "Pacquaio sold more against Unknown Algeri just by having his name on the card"

Well guess what genius? Pacquaio-Algeri sold 350k.

                    Pacquaio-Brandon Rios sold 475k.

Maths isn't my strongest subject but I'm pretty sure 500K is more than 350k.

As ridiculous as that statement sounds...it became true for both floyd and pac toward the end of their careers. After years of avoiding eachother and fighting lesser opponents, fans were getting tired of it...that's why the fight finally got made. And after that pathetic "fight" , they'll definitely need another decent name fighter to do any big #s.
