Fury might think its saprils fools to be underdog and be embarrassed.
Josh might get even worse verbal now if the word gets back to him

Bookies are like casual fans ... easily impressed by quick KOs.

My first day back at work after AJ/Martin, I had guys coming up to me asking if I still thought Fury would beat AJ.

I said the same thing to all of them .. Yeah, why not? Don't you think Fury would have beaten Martin?

The response to that was always along the lines of ... Yeah, Fury could beat Martin, but he wouldn't knock him out in 2 rounds like AJ did.

I got sick of trying to explain that you don't need to KO somebody to beat them.

And that just because somebody can KO somebody else you would beat on points, that doesn't mean they could KO you as well!

      Waste of time, of course.

Not quite, They know Fury is the favorite. However AJ is the golden child so to speak and the casuals love him, therefore the money would be spent on AJ.

Id bet the bookies are more then happy to make AJ favorite and promote him to win. And if the fight went ahead next, Fury would be the winner thus cashing more then theyd lose on payout for fury bets.

Thats my thoughts on it anyway.

Not if you know what you are looking at..bookies aren't dumb, they sometimes get it wrong but that's on Wlad for low punch out put They have more to go on now. Joshua has all the abilities to put fury any where he wants him.Hes easily the favored as he is with Wilder.

Nothing to do with it....as I have always said Joshua walks through fury and nails him clean on the chin...coming from a man who said Martin would give Joshua big problems I think your he man with big insecurities.....Joshua took his time let a well timed counter right hand go and Martin hit the deck like a sack of **** ..I tried watching fury vs klitchcko last night....it was a joke of a fight and excruciating .....there's a reason why bookies are rich and experts are experts......they know what there talking about ......what was Peter fury's and Tyson fury's prediction on the Joshua Martin fight ...as I said stake some money with me....whatever you want no probs but all you do is talk a good game just like family fury

I think fury has a big mouth with fighters who put up with it ....like a 6ft 9 lumbering bully...but playing and mouthing off to Joshua is a different kettle of fish......fury will not beat Joshua ....when he steps in the ring with Joshua he already knows that he got beat up in sparring before Joshua was even a skilled amatuer....let alone destroying every opponent inside 7 rounds and becoming IBF champion now ......fury will not beat Joshua

He's nowhere near ready to be considered a favourite.

I didn't say Martin would give AJ big problems at all.

I said I found the fight impossible to predict because I had no idea how good Martin was. AJ might blast him out early, or he might turn out to be a problem. That's what I said.

Bookies make money on boxing because of people like you, who throw their money on fighters with a lot of quick KO's on their records. If they were as clever as all that, they wouldn't have given me odds of 8/1 against Fury beating Wlad.

With respect mate, if I'm going to bet on Fury vs AJ, I'm going to do it with a bookie, not some guy I know nothing about at a boxing forum!

I haven't seen many boxing pundits saying AJ would beat Fury right now, btw. In fact, I haven't seen any.

This guff about AJ beating Fury up in sparring all started with a joke Fury made to Steve Bunce during an interview.

What actually happened was that Fury told his sparring partners he would give a rolex watch to anybody who could knock him down during sparring. AJ gave it a real try, but he didn't get Fury's rolex.

Did you know that AJ got KO'd by David Price during a sparring session?

That was verified by reliable sources, but I still wouldn't bet on Price beating AJ if they fought each other now.
