I'd favor Brook right now as well. This is Spence' best opponent but Algieri would get mauled by a guy like Porter.

I love what I saw from Spence though, can't wait to see him again.

Algieri survived against a killer like Provodnikov, gave Khan a tough fight, and got up after getting dropped six against Pacquiao. Spence destroyed him, I say he's ready for a title shot.

It was scheduled for 10 rounds, but my guess is they had to drop it down to a 8 rounder to fit into the allotted TV time.
