Now don't get me wrong, of course Al is looking to make some money off of his client, so it's really a win-win situation for all parties. But as I mentioned above, Al has no say in the actual negotiations for this fight. It's all GBP.
According to Khan, Haymon looked over everything during negotiation and signed off/advised. So he did have a say for sure.

But what !War Kovalev! is saying is that GBP and Haymon no longer have issues and are totally compliant towards working with each other now, which I doubt is the case. Wasn't Oscar suing him for over 100 million or did that get dismissed already?

I see. Yeah, I doubt that although I would hope this leads to them continuing to work together. And I'm pretty sure the lawsuit is ongoing. It'll be interesting to see what direction Garcia goes in. If he wants consistent work then yeah it makes sense to go over to Haymon but maybe he can be a free agent too? If I were him I'd go with the former that way even if he loses he can still get steady work a la Broner, etc.

Mikey would almost immediately be the best fighter in Floyd's stable. The kid is that damn good.
