Of course he's going to thank his advisor who advised him to take the fight. He probably read over the contract (with Khan's lawyers of course) and liked what he saw. And what he saw was an opportunity for one of his clients to make big money off of his network (PBC). Of course Khan will thank Al for letting him fight out of house. Now don't get me wrong, of course Al is looking to make some money off of his client, so it's really a win-win situation for all parties. But as I mentioned above, Al has no say in the actual negotiations for this fight. It's all GBP.

But what !War Kovalev! is saying is that GBP and Haymon no longer have issues and are totally compliant towards working with each other now, which I doubt is the case. Wasn't Oscar suing him for over 100 million or did that get dismissed already?

I see. Yeah, I doubt that although I would hope this leads to them continuing to work together. And I'm pretty sure the lawsuit is ongoing. It'll be interesting to see what direction Garcia goes in. If he wants consistent work then yeah it makes sense to go over to Haymon but maybe he can be a free agent too? If I were him I'd go with the former that way even if he loses he can still get steady work a la Broner, etc.
