Did Bradley seem mentally weaker in this fight?

His whole career he's been one of those fighters you can throw the kitchen sink at and they would get right back up and answer back. Last night he visibly showed his frustration after a bad rounds and rolled over backwards after a flash knockdown. It's almost like he realized he couldn't box with Pacquiao and admitted defeat. You can tell after he watched the replay of him rolling he immediately got more serious and professional.

I think he was better before Atlas, before all the senseless yelling and screaming.

His demeanor definitely changed after the second knock down. I don't think he checked out and I think he was still trying to win, but I think it was at that moment that he knew he can't be Pacquiao

Absolutely not, but as others said things changed after that second knock down. Teddy was telling him to box the rest of the rounds and Bradley knew that if he did that, he would lose on points, but swinging for the fences got him nowhere in the second fight. I think he was just frustrated because there was no path to victory.

I don't think Bradley takes a punch quite as well anymore. Wars with Ruslin and Vargas and others seem to have taken a toll on his punch resistance and Pacquiao still has that shocking power that comes from lightning hand speed and leverage. Bradley did his best but it wasn't good enough. Once he tasted Pacquiao's full power it probably made him a bit gun shy.

He was supposed to be mentally stronger in this fight with his new trainer who is a motivator.

i think there was just too much pressure on tim to perform well with atlas. at times it looks like tim was holding back in fear of being yelled at by atlas. bradley wasnt his normal self. he was thinking way too much.

He hold back a lot, he knew he was gona lose following the game plan Teddy wanted to keep late in the fight, lets see if they stick with each other, i think thats it for them

I think Atlas is vastly overrated as a trainer. I don't think he ever trained anybody to a title from the early days on. His few successes were with already very good fighters. Some boxers left him. Probably because they didn't like being verbally abused and talked to like they were a kid.

Atlas' constant shouting every round since the 2nd(maybe even first) probably drained him. He was also being held back, with the entire build up to the fight being about focus and professionalism, he was probably conflicted since the strategy wasn't working but selling out would further prove the point that everyone was making that once he got hit he'd return to his old self and I guess even he himself would want to find out what would happen if he just stuck to the gameplan, thinking that maybe things would turn around eventually if he just stayed patient and disciplined.

Did Atlas ever tell him to forgo the strategy and just to go after Pacquiao and try to get a KO? All I remember seeing and hearing suggested he fought the with the same strategy all night which consisted of making Pacquiao fall into an overhand right(barring 2 or so moments of Bradley rushing Pacquiao).

i think that was his downfall. atlas put too much on the whole motivation talk, i think it messed tim up when he found out what they worked on isnt really working against manny and now tim wants to revert back to his old ways but he's trying to be mentally strong for atlas to not go back to his old ways.
