Valdez is much better than Jose Ramirez who has zero defense. Valdez actually thinks in there, Jose just throws without any sense of defense.

Impressive performance, Valdez is a quality little fighter. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Great performance by Valdez, he's not ready for Loma though

I would love to see that fight next, actually. If Valdez loses to him so what, he's still young enough to bounce back and it would be a great learning experience.

Arum won't want him to lose his 0, though.

That was beautifully savage. That's what should happen to a guy like grado at the top level. Valdez will prove to be p4p the best Mexican fighter imo. If he was a WW or bigger he'd be hyped as the second coming. Unfortunately hell have to go through Loma one day. Nobody under 140 beats Loma that guy is freakishly good. Would like to see Valdez take aim at Mares and that level of opposition maybe rigo or donaire after a couple of fights

I always thought Gradovich was a guy keeping the belt warm for someone else
