Is Luis Ortiz the white elephant in the room?..

Is Luis Ortiz the white elephant in the room in terms of the heavyweight division?

When you hear the commentators talking about the top heavyweights, his name rarely gets mentioned. When fighters are talking about fighting each other, his name never gets brought up. I know he doesn't bring big money so nobody particularly needs him but it often seems like he doesn't exist and other fighters would rather pretend he's not there.

Even Fury who never speaks highly of any heavyweight said how dangerous he is and he's a "who needs him?" kind of guy.

High risk for low pay. He did pretty bad numbers and attendance in DC. Hopefully he wins that wba tournament ASAP and that forces people to fight him

          Big time.

Nobody even mentioned his name on Sky Sports tonight. I know they know who he is.

They did post fight, Haye mentioned him on the broadcast said Ortiz was lined up to fight the winner of Fury-Klitschko rematch

I think Ortiz is a good fighter, skilled, good defense. Also a cheat, who I think is still cheating.

I would not call him the white elephant, but certainly the elephant in the room.

HBO's cosign of Ortiz is starting to really get him some momentum. Nice.
