It grazed his cheeks but the blunt force went on the shoulder...the ref was behind Martin so he might of thought it was a brutal shot...and therefore stopped it early.

You have to blame the IBF for this... They inexplicably had Martin ranked high enough to where he could fight for a title shot. When he finally fought for a title against Glazkov, he became the most undeserving champion in history.

Joshua has power, and we all know that. But this fight didn't do much to convince me that he's on the elite level yet.

To make matters worse, Martin did the whole, get up at 10 thing to make it seem like he wanted to fight (he didn't).

I think Duhaupas would've KOed Martin. Eric Molina too!

Absolutely, who else could you blame. Their rankings are ridiculous.

9:58. Ref gets to 10, he comes in shot and he's at 5, count with him from that and he gets to 10.

Knocked down at 1:38 left in the round, waved off at 1:23. Martin had plenty of time.

Yup. Worst rankings in the sport. I get that they want to enforce mandatory every 6 months or so. But they need an overhaul on their ranking systems because there is no way Martin should have been ranked high enough to fight for a title.

Look at the guys that weren't ranked by the IBF or were ranked lower than Martin. Povetkin wasn't on there, Kubrat Pulev is no. 8, Stiverne is ranked 11th. Like how did he leap frog over all those guys?

The writer of this article should be fired ASAP. If someone read this article and did not see the fight they would believe the authors delusions.

Please the words brave and valiant should never be used describing Martin a fighter who after much smack talk quit. He pretended he wanted to beat the 10 count which he could have. Shame on you you do the sport and your readers a great disservice trying to sound clever weaving tales of blatant fiction Martin quit do you not see the response of all your readers? You are the only one not knowing he quit but instead you say brave and gallant shame on you

GIF: Martin vs. Joshua - Robbery.

Here is this crooked ref following the rules - a man is considered down if one knee is touching the floor, Martin knows the rules and is doing the same thing here on the first count as he did on the second buying time to fully recover..notice he gets up just before he is counted out...same as the second fall.

Yeah I think BUM SQUAD wins. Povetkin is better but too short. Wilder fights tall.
