Fights that went the distance but should have been stopped

List some fights were one fighter was dominating/beating up the other fighter and there was no chance of a decision win.

    I'll mention two

Calzaghe/Lacy was an awful job by the ref and corner. They should have pulled him out after the 9th. Never recovered from this beating.

Same for Pacqauio/Margarito. Pac was winning clear and Margarito was done and had a broken eye. Should have been stopped.

    Any others?

Pac-Algieri was probably the worst one. Pac was up like 13 points against a guy with no power, and the 5th KD Algieri got up on 10 and the ref still kept it going.

        Also Martinez-Cintron.

Actually the worst one ever was Vitali vs Briggs. How was that one not stopped?

Yeah Pac was robbed of stoppage against Algieri. He was lighting him up in the 9th and the ref stopped the action looking like he was stopping it then he restarted it.

Vitali/Briggs is probably what caused Briggs to be the way he is now.

Agree, but Cobb wouldn't stop fighting back. Watch the Larry holmes roast, Cobb kills, funny stuff.

Margarito against Manny was the worst, he was just too tough for his own good, Manny laid off late, he even knew it should have been stopped.
