HGH gut isn't the same as Palumboism. Palumboism's a little known condition old bodybuilders who've been on the juice for an age start to suffer from whereby their arms, legs and upper body begin to wither while their midsection blows up out of control. Joshua isn't anywhere near that stage yet. If he was, he'd no longer be fit enough to get in the ring.

Yeah, I've always thought he was. However, the one benefit I'll give him is that his back is very swayed, so I could understand that his roid gut, sticking out, could also be caused by his sway back pushing it out.

It's just as likely Tyson Fury and Chris Arreola are on gear as Joshua is frankly. There are too many absurd accusations thrown out there. HGH gut is when the internal organs grow as a result of HGH and insulin use. Pretty much all modern IFBB pros suffer from it. You can still get on stage and place highly simply by sucking it in, as guys like Coleman and Cutler did, because the rest of the body is still as muscular as ever.



Palumboism is a more severe condition where the body seems to no longer respond to the drugs and begins to atrophy, except from the midsection, which continues to grow out of control. No one with Palumboism would ever be able to step on a professional bodybuilding stage and expect anything but ridicule.
