I had to stop reading here.

This guy was an excellent amateur but as a pro he's been slapped around the ring and dropped by journeyman in his short pro career.

    Can't take you seriously anymore.

Roy Jones carried him for the entire fight seemingly out of respect for the aging fighter but that's a good win to you. Ok.
Roy actually had problems with McCallums jab the entire fight. You haven't watched it though, so no need to tell you how the fight went, or how the subsequent fight with Toney went.

The fact that he could hang with any of them goes to show what a great fighter he was, and its no different than listing Delahoya for Mayweather.

        1.Floyd
        2.Pac
        3.RJJ
Pea fought Azuma Nelson in 1990 (assuming last 25 years means 1990-2015), Chavez Sr (Very very close to both fighters absolute peak), Buddy McGirt, and got ROBBED BLIND vs PRIME Oscar De La Hoya.

Chavez Sr was not near the end of Pea's career, 1993 with oscar 4 years later in 1997.

Oh yeah mate, never seen that one.

So what are you saying here that Roy didn't carry McCallum throughout that fight?

You don't need to tell me about Mike McCallum. Mike McCallum is greater than James Toney.

You're listing it as a good win for Roy Jones though, which I find funny.

My use of CAPITAL LETTERS is as OVER the TOP as stretching the CLAIM that that FIGHT was a ROBBERY

Little boy? That's you. Hurt by opposing views and the truth. Mosley went forward against Mayweather and Alvarez. That's a fact. He ran all night from Paquiao. Fact. Illustrates the greatness of Pacquiao

Floyd? Great reflexes. But how great really without the hugging, pushing, forearms? Probably not so great or else he wouldn't have done it and would not have ducked Pacquiao so many years and run scared during the fight

                #1) Roy Jones Jr.
                #2) Pernell Whitaker.
#3) James Toney ( Imagine watching Floyd fight Toney ).
                #4) Bernard Hopkins.

Then is we want to get into the smaller weights.

#1) Guillermo Rigondeaux not sure Floyd could get past him.
                #2) Finito Lopez.
#3) I am not sure Floyd would have gotten past Chavez Sr... I mean look what Castillo did to him.

People are forgetting 25 years encompases Pernell Whitaker...
Oh lord help me, James Toney, Ricardo Lopez and Rigondeaux ranked higher than Floyd Mayweather.

                A+ for comedic value.

You described Golovkins career. Unlike Floyd, he has no hall of fame fighters, no pound for pound greats, and no muti division champions on his resume. If you go to ESPNs page people are more upset that GGG is even on the list than Floyd being number 1

Floyd got dropped by a guy that just lost to Baldomir. Your point?

Rigondeaux has not gotten the chance to fight the best, but when he did, he proved he was up to the task. He is clearly not in his prime anymore. 35 years old at 122lb, that's like being 45 at 147.

He also hasn't gotten slapped around by anyone. He has gotten shaken up, nobody has ever accused him of having the best chin in the world, but Floyd was almost knocked out by DeMarcus Corley...

So about these fights he got slapped around in... let me guess they are all the ones you never actually watched that people always like to quote, Cordoba fight, where he got went down off balance from a jab after being aggressive and then played the defensive counter puncher to the T, and easily won. Or is it the Marroquin fight, where he got rocked, regained his composure, and once again went on to dominate. Or is it the Aamagasa fight where he was caught off balance moving, but literally almost beat the kid to death...

Even Robert Garcia says that skills wise Rigondeaux is probably more talented than Floyd, but Floyd is a more rounded package because he can "punch". We know Rigo can punch, and Garcia has sour g****s in his mouth from what Rigo did to Donaire.

You may not enjoy his fighting style. You may not appreciate his fighting style. But how would Floyd beat him?

Is he going to walk down and knock out a fighter with better defensive stats that he himself has? Is he going to get Rigondeaux to come to him? Laughable, if Floyd could coax Rigondeaux into taking the lead, I would bow down and immediately proclaim Floyd the greatest fighter to ever live.

Is Floyd going to use his superior speed to pot shot Rigondeaux? Where did that get Donaire? A fighter equally as fast as Floyd.

2 Gold Medals, and avoided by EVERYONE once he proved that he was the real deal.

You don't think he is on Floyds Level at his best? Remember the Problems Floyd was having with 4 round Zab? What kind of problems would have have with arguably the most technically sound southpaw to ever lace up a pair of gloves?

Rigo's career is a shame. But he had his chance to shine against the best of his time at his weight, at his peak in Donaire, and he put on one of the best masterclasses we have seen in a long time.
