It's what I have suspected all along. Just like the Loma/Walters negotiation.

How long would Arum be able to protect these hypejobs? Look at who he fought compared to Postol. Arum gave him Dierry Jean and Lundy, and Postol got Matthysse. Crawford vs Matthysse would have been the better draw.

The problem is that as an "event", Crawford-Postol is not likely to generate much more revenue than say Crawford-Lundy did, so where exactly is the extra money supposed to come from? Not to mention I guarantee you Postol would be getting alot more than Lundy did. Is the money supposed to just pop out of thin air?

It does seem that inflated purses in insignificant fights can indeed cause issues with making other fights, even though Big Dunn says this is not true......

Crawford is just a decent fighter and nothing more. Can't believe people are picking this guy to beat Pacquiao.
Crawford would have a good chance against current Pacquiao. Pacquiao can't cut off the ring, and struggles against movers.

Crawford would stand absolutely zero chance against Pacquiao. Pacquaio isn't Hank Lundy.

Crawford isn't a 'mover'. He's quite stiff and has very bad defence. I think Crawford would be Pac's first KO win in years, if he catches Crawford with the shots Hank was catching him with, it would be a very early night.

Crawford simply doesn't have any tools that would trouble Pac and even if he does, we haven't seen any cos he's been fighting tree cutters, which all due respect to those guys.

Manny Pacquiao wearing the wrong type of socks and suffering from legs cramps has way faster feet than Crawford and way faster hands... Seriously his best win is STILL Manny's sparring partner and that went 12....

This guy has done nothing but let me down since he burst on the scene with his win over Prescott.

LOL @ Crawford not being a mover.

Crawford has the tools to trouble Pacquiao. A good jab, good counter-puncher, longer reach, and taller. Pacquiao has also never fought a switch-hitter.
