It is relevant just not in the U.K or America where they lack good Cruisers currently.

All the best cards last year were Russian cards stacked with top Cruiserweights.

But I do not remember any boxing star (or PPV star) on this division in the history of boxing.

I mean, it is not a money category like welterweight.

Every division seems to have a following somewhere so I wouldn't say its never been relevant. In the US I'd agree doe. For the US boxing fans I think the problem is its seen as Heavyweight Lite is the issue.

Who cares about those little midgets? Cruiserweight's where the action's at. You're ignorant if you think otherwise.

And you've never heard of Evander or David Haye? Take your head outta your ass, foo.

they dont get much shine but the division is underrated...in the 2000s we had James Toney, Vassily Jirov, Jean Marc Mormeck, Super Nova Bell, Kelvin davis, Louis Azille etc....the division was very competitive and deep for a solid decade.

Holyfield, Haye, O' Neil Bell, Mormeck there have been stars but its also still a fairly new division.

Its currently booming in Russia where majority of the top Cruiserweights are from and the way they're producing these Cruiserweight knockout artists its only going to continue growing.

When the best CW from the U.S/UK is probably a guy like Tony Bellew its fairly easy to see why it doesn't get a lot of coverage.

You think anyone in Eastern Europe or Africa cares about little midgety Latinos slapping each other with kid gloves for twelve rounds? Cruiserweight's the division for real men, son.
