EvilSaint, how can you say Bernard Hopkins 'isn't that good defensively'.. I'm not trying to flame on you, but that was just, well, funny to me.

Hopkins defense is in the top three. I'd put Hopkins at #1 defense in the world, and Floyd at #2. Before you argue how much better Floyd's defense is, look how many straight shots he took from Zab. Not grazing blows either, Floyd was takin hard shots and being hurt by them. I consider Jermain Taylor a much better fighter than Zab Judah, but that isn't what I'm getting to- Jermain's cross is a better weapon than Zab's, and Bernard never really got tagged 'flush' by it. Instead, he did what I just said above, and used his hands and head together to anticipate shots, and in the worst case scenario, he'd roll with the shot and not even take any damage. And if you try to mix it up on the inside with Bernard you'll just be missing all night.. Winky's defense, now that's methodical. He doesn't even utilize head movement. Bernard utilizes major head and torso movement, and (at times) open gloved defensive movements to catch shots and then throw a lead counter cross to the head.

rockin/trimble you guys need to just make up...especially before it escalates to the
"Lets meet somewhere and fight, I'll pay for your bus/plane ticket" level...

Its all done, I wrote my last post to him and I have washed my hands of him.

Funnything circle, he already called me out telling me to meet him at Byrds gym in Flint to show me how he was going to make me his *****. When I told him that I excepted the challenge and that I only live about an hour and a half from Flint I think he **** his pants. The proposed ass kicking that he was to put on me was no longer in play when I would not send him my proper I.D. When in the hell have you heard of a fight not getting going until someone sees I.D? LOL Whatever, its done. I appreciate you trying to make peace between us, but I dont believe that it will happen. By the way, where did you get that boxing card for your avatar, I have never seen it before and I have all kinds of boxing cards.

But to take it even further...I think Winky is the best I've seen. Because not only does he not use his legs....he doesn't shy away from punches.

He catches all of them on his arms and gloves.
Yup. Great post. Toney and Wright both get my vote.

Good post. I get to look at proof of Hopkins defensive greatness every time I look at my sig.
