Eh, Joshua's looking good, but I think people are putting the cart before the horse.
Dude doesn't have the speed or power of an old school Tyson, even though he is a huge guy with an impressive physique. He's just as much like Frank Bruno as he is Tyson.
Now, I think like a lot of people that he will eventually be the ruler of the Heavyweight division, but I think right now Vlad, Ortiz, and Povetkin are all better boxers.
I'm not 100% sure he's better than Fury or Wilder right now.
And there's still Joseph Parker there in New Zealand who's just as promising.Comment

Martin definitely hits hard enough to drop AJ whether he can keep him there is another matter .I think a lot of fans are going to be surprised how tough this is going to be, AJ has the power to stop and hurt anyone but I feel so has Martin ....if Martin is still there after the halfway mark things could get very scary for AJ. .I don't think Dillian whyte had enough after six to really mount anything whether it was his shoulder or his stamina who knows but I think this one is serious and looks more than dangerous.
If AJ has blown out after trying an early finish who knows?Comment

Cmon guys, just because someone has a world title doesnt make him good especially one that got it by default. AJ KO in 4, but that doesnt mean he AJ is great. He leaves himself too open, stiff and has no head movement and i see Wilder using that to his advantage if they ever fight. That said only Klit, Wilder and Fury would beat him.Comment

Joshua does have a LITTLE speed on Martin... but I'm curious as to where you get the idea Martin is predictable? Have you watched him in the gym?

I've said it before and will repeat... Martin isn't a pushover. He's way more cerebral than many of you accept he is, he's very solid, huge punch easily as strong as Joshua's, and is unorthodox in his style. This could go either way obviously, but with Joshua being way too musclebound for a boxer, he will tire before Martin, and he does leave himself open way too much. Don't expect this to be an easy fight for either fighter. And especially don't expect a Mike Tyson performance... because Joshua just wants to be him. He isn't.Comment

Lol Joshua is like 1/10000th of Tyson
Joshua would be ko1 by:
Tyson
Holyfield
Bowe
Foreman
Ali
Frazier
Shavers
Norton
Byrd
Spinks
Holmes
Wilder
Martin
And many more
He'd be competitive with the b grade champs like lewis and the klitschkos thoughComment

I have never once said that Joshua is the next reincarnation of Lennox Lewis ....joshua will have his work cut out to be 80% of a Lennx lewis.......but is he good enough to beat the wilders, fury's of this world......100 percent and as I said you will see the emergence of a the best heavyweight in the world......if spilka could make wilder look ****** and cunning bet your life Joshua would embarrass him...don't get me started on fury ......f u want to troll Joshua at least wait for him look poor or get knocked out so you have proof because at the moment he has only gone to the 7th round against a ****er who also was undefeated and it was personal .....as I said before Joshua when he is coming at you is a scary thought and if I was any other heavyweight champion I wouldn't want him opposite in the ringThey'll probably say Martin was never very good to begin with, which would be 100% true. Guy's slow, no footwork, no boxing brain, no real skill. Just a big guy with half-decent power (although he's fought no1 of note) and happens to be a southpaw. He basically got handed a paper title on a plate. Joshua winning this fight won't be especially impressive TBH. Martin isn't nearly as good as 2nd/3rd tier HWs from the 90s/early 00s, guys like Golota, Tommy Morrison, Michael Grant. Nothing about him stands out.
I think the buildup to this fight will be remembered for AJ completely stepping out from his 'stay humble' BS. Comparing himself to Tyson, talking trash at Fury (when previously he'd been all 'I respect the champ'), predicting an early KO etc. His ego has truly taken off.Comment

Bowe?
Martin?
Wilder?
You put a load of greats up and throw in the current American fighters. They are lacking in skill.Comment

He has a better chin than Bruno.Eh, Joshua's looking good, but I think people are putting the cart before the horse.

You are right though the next fights after these hold a lot of danger for him.
Not worried at all about Martin. Technically one of the worst I have seen. He doesn't even use his stance to his advantage properly.
His training camp is going to have to be something amazingComment
You think that slow and highly predictable boxer Martin will land on Joshua?
