Agreed. Boxing isn't a racial/racist sport. Idiotic, biased, rabid fans turn to racism when they lose intelligent and factual debate.I don't think boxing is a racially divided sport. It's a working class sport. Generally you can't have that many prospects in life if you're willing to get punched in the head for a living.
NSB however, is a race baiting pit of ****e. Lots of insecurities on here from all races. Lots of nationalistic/race supporting instead of just being a fan of boxing.Comment

It's not so bad. It's only really bad on the internet because anonymity brings out the bottom of the barrel when it comes to fans and people.Comment

It's absolutely one of the most racially divided sports hands down. People don't like or want to admit it but it's the truth. People tend to stick with their own and support people who look like them.
I remember being at the Staples Center where the split PPV was taking place with Canelo fighting that Mexican gatekeeper (forget his name) and Floyd was fighting Ortiz, which was being aired on the jumbo tron. After Floyd knocked Ortiz out there were fights breaking out in the stands mostly between groups of blacks and Mexicans. Same at the theaters when Mayweather fought Canelo.
I also heard it was pretty bad in San Antonio when Canelo fought Trout and the same in Houston when he fought Kirkland.
And we all saw how the Latino crowd treated Broner after the Maidana fight. Although that tension was building up for all of his antics.Comment

And none of what you said proves it was down to race, they could be fighting over losing a bet or for other reasons. Your simply assuming this is due to race. It's absolutely one of the most racially divided sports hands down. People don't like or want to admit it but it's the truth. I don't think boxing is a racially divided sport at all only a small minority of the boxing fanbase try and make everything about race (usually the racist ones).Comment

I take it you don't live in the US. Boxing outside of the US isn't really racial driven. But over here it totally is. And no, groups of people aren't fighting because they "lost a bet". They're fighting because they are either feeling prideful or ashamed that their guy won/lost the fight. And none of what you said proves it was down to race, they could be fighting over losing a bet or for other reasons. People have actually been killed (and subsequently charged with a hate crime) over boxing matches.Comment
