It's not his fault Canelo chose to fight a WW instead of a MW, you know the division he holds a title in.

Like I said your making up stories because he and Lemule was considered opponents for Canelo. Nothing you say will change that.

Come at it from a better angle though you might be able to fool some of these posters but I see through bull**** quiet easily.

Meaning they agree that choices will come off as a duck and rightly so. Some are more apparent than others.

For example! I wish McGuigan and Frampton would just man up and admit the high risk low reward... how does Frampton say himself in a post fight conf. that he has always loved the idea to fight Rigo but then goes quiet when McGuigan says the money isn't right. Everybody knew that Rigo vs Frampton was next after the ****ens and Quigg bout.

Even Warren said it himself after the ****ens fight Rigo would take on Frampton all in the context of Box Nation. This is what is wrong with boxing that many dummies here actually believe the Visa problem was caused by Rigo. Everybody knows Rigo would school ****ens so being paid to not fight perhaps for the same amount isn't bad in Rigo's mind?

Thé reason Rigo didn't fight ****ens was because Box Nation orchestrated it all and even paid Roc Nation compensation, easily, all so that Warren could protect McGuigan's cocerned investment and not ever or any time soon fight Rigo.
Barry McGuigan was simply "keeping it real"; rather than slog through bringing in Rigo for a ho-hum fight (rumors abound that Rigo's camp has turned down really good money for other fights/working with an actual promoter, in a somewhat deluded view of his own value, tbh), McGuigan and the camp chose to steer Frampton toward a fight with Leo Santa Cruz (in an also dangerous fight, but on a stage that brings in money from more sources for Frampton).

You figure that, if Frampton were to win the fight, he's in position for another 3-5 big fights at 126. Again, options for fights are key.

Well my point is that their positioning of 154-168 now is causing them to not get Canelo or Ward with their refusal to accept Canelos catch watch or demand a catch weight on Ward. Which are their 2 biggest opportunities. There's really nothing else for them as far as a money fight.

If everybody is looking for Willie Monroe why hasn't he fought in almost a year? Is he being ducked? The fans are clamoring for Monroe the Boxino champ!!!!!

I knew nothing about him until Felix Strum tried to bribe the WBA some crazy amount of money, like a quarter million dollars or something, in order to not have to fight him. Turned out all he had to do was ask, meanwhile the the middleman pocketed all the money

That was the point where I started paying attention to him.

My favorite part about looking back at these old threads are the comments like "Golovkin is hype the fight with Macklin will tell us if he's the real deal" or "Is Golovkin afraid of Curtis Stevens?"

Funny thing is the people who made these comments didn't exactly live up to their word and are still highly critical. But you can't please everybody.

Universum - right? Nah ... they matched him fairly well early but as soon as it became apparent that he might be a legitimate challenge to their cash cow Sturm and stablemate Zbik the fights dried up. He was well known amongst the boxing cognescenti but a long, loooong way from stardom - unless you were being sarcastic? If so I apologise, I ain't really firing on all cylinders this morning.
