Martin and Joshua have the personality of a potato. They need Fury to hype up this fight.

The casuals are lapping this up. Won't be buying it, not value for money. Joshua will knock him over in 1-2 rounds. Rose-Macklin and Selby-Hunter might be decent fights, Conor Benn will knock over a journeyman...is that a PPV card? Nowhere near it, IMO
I don't think Martin is a "bum". He has some pretty good skills and being a Southpaw will help him a bit avoid the massive Joshua bombs.

But realistically I think it will be a quick AJ win. Martin is a complete unknown though so don't be surprised if he puts up a good fight..

Besides AJ sells. The guy sold 400K PPV to fight Dillian Whyte, a guy ranked like 65th in the world or something. Whatever you think of the guy or if you think he's a hypejob, the guy puts butts in seats..

I love this time in a boxers career. Anything seems possible still with the hype surrounding him. The hilarious part is when the anointed catches a L or even gets dropped the fanboys jump from the bandwagon with reckless abandon or disappear from forums. Just watch who'll call Joshua a bum if he loses to Martin or even gets knocked down Saturday.

As for Joshua's future I think its early to be talking about Fury. He should focus on the task at hand. If he beats Martin get a easy defense or two in. Maybe later on give Haye a shot. Maybe after that get in there with the Wilder/Povetkin winner. Then aim for Fury sometime next year or early 2018 assuming they both have kept winning. He's got plenty of time to grow & improve as a boxer. No need to rush things. Fans are way to harsh about L's nowadays, no need for him to hurt or ruin his marketability. Look where Price is these days. Granted Joshua is no Price, but still Price was rushed & his career is all kinds of f#cked up these days.

I only bet on boxing matches when I see bookies giving long odds against an under-dog I know has a real chance of winning, eg, Fury vs Wlad.

I won nearly £400 on that one. Did you throw away any of your money on Wlad?

If you've been laying bets like £1000 on AJ to beat Fury since Holmes and Hagler's day, you must have blown a fortune by now!

Give Joshua 4-5 more decent fights then we'll talk.

Pumped for Martin-Joshua though, I've been watching some of Martin's fights... he's kind of predictable and slow

What good skills does Martin have? I've watched a few of his fights, he's painfully average in almost every department. His one advantage is that he's a southpaw. He's slow, predictable, mechanical, flat-footed and boxes in the most basic fashion possible. He has a decent punch but has fought mostly cans, so it's hard to gauge the extent of his power.

I'm not questioning his drawing power. The casuals are lapping up the Joshua hype. But to me he looks like another Frank Bruno. Built like a Sherman tank but mechanical and vulnerable. We'll see...

I'd say he has more power than Whyte, Whyte the bum he is managed to land on Joshua and it shook the hell outta him!

Joshua should clean Martin out of there in 4.. hopefully he doesn't get caught himself

He went 10 rounds with Love.

A guy whose knees buckled everytime Joshua connected.
