Comments Thread For: Martin: All Anthony Joshua Has is Power, I Can Do It All

Even though he holds a heavyweight title, the jury is still out on whether Charles Martin is ready for the big time. That being the case, Prince Charles is ready to take it to trial. Martin will go on the road this Saturday to the 02 Arena in London, where he will defend his IBF heavyweight title against Anthony Joshua

    Well we'll find out.

It's interesting. I've seen nothing from Martin to suggest he has any great skills either but a lot of people who have sparred him said he is much better than people realise. I hope so.

I hope he knocks Joshua into next week to be honest. I've got nothing against Joshua but i can't stomach the media here in the UK, the way they will be treat Joshua like a hero and acting like he'll have beaten Sonny Liston or something, not a guy who won a paper title via leg injury.

i agree with martin, martin is more fluid and AJ is very stiff,
the longer the fight goes the worse its going to get for AJ,
he was gassed when he fought whyte,
martin is going to catch AJ and knock him out..

Martin is being heavily underrated I think he's gonna pull off the upset.

Martin does indeed have more to offer... but once the UK boxing world gets the hype wagon rolling... tough to stop it. Joshua is just taking this fight too soon IMO. But he will have an excuse of being too green if he loses... so he should be able to comeback alright.

All credit to Martin for being willing to take on a tough opponent on the road.

Yeah that body seems a recipe for disaster if a fight goes into the later rounds. I'm sure he has some sort of conditioning coach who would want him to have more of a boxers body, unless he's just a freak of nature who can fight 12 rounds looking like that, i'd be surprised anyway.. He really does look more like a bodybuilder than a boxer.

He looked absolutely gassed against Whyte, but Whyte was too so it was ok. It was like Auschwitz in the ring that night with all that gassing... (i have family who were gassed there, so i can joke )
