Manny lost, he was injured at some point in his career. As most boxers are. He lied on his paperwork, he wanted a shot that no one knew why he needed it. He was losing soundly in the fight. He got embarrassed and the excuses started flying out the woodwork.
Move on. Manny was never better than Floyd. May 2 and what followed was just comedic reliefComment

Doesn't this "shoulder injury" seem to mostly be about toradol being (one of?) Pacquaio's "PEDs" of choice?
Pacquiao said: “We wanted a shot for numbing the shoulder but we respect the decision of the Commission it was getting better and better but was still not 100 per cent.
Asked why he needed the injection if he felt good before the fight, Pacquiao said, “No, I don’t have pain or injury before the fight. I just want to make sure that whatever happened, I’m still there. I’m not saying I’m not 100 percent condition.”
The dude is clearly a liar.Comment

At this point it's proven he had a shoulder injury. You'd think Floyd spastics would be the most understanding in this situation given that they'd cry "his shoulder doe!" everytime the Castillo one fight was brought up.
Mayweather showed less signs of a torn rotator than Pacquiao in his fight throwing his left without abondonment. But then again he was on numbing drugs.
Pacquiao likely beats Floyd if he's healthy. Like Floyd beat Castillo in the rematch.Comment

People want to pretend that Top Rank and Wild Card weren't both on damage control trying to throw people off the scent once journalists picked up on the fact Pacquaio stopped sparring entire mid camp. I can understand thinking it was a fake injury but please explain why any world class athlete would stop half of their camp for any other reason beyond an injury. If we hadn't learned about the lack of sparring I would probably like so many others be skeptical but this dude was hurt...you don't prepare to fight someone who you've been jawing back forth with for 7 years if you aren't hurt.Comment
