It won't be Spence Jr, he just fought his Mandatory so IBF probably won't order him to fight his Mandatory until next year.

I would love to see a Unification Bout between him and Danny Garcia, that is a HUGE FIGHT. More realistic match up I would say Robert Guerrero or Lamont Peterson. If Algeiri beats Spence Jr I could see Brook vs Algeiri that would be a Solid fight also!

If Algeiri beats Spence, then yes Brook should fight him next.

I think it's clear that Brook will not land a big fight this year.

Some of these guys are coming off the back of losses, some have very little experience at 147 and others are still green

I think the Vargas fight would reveal a lot on both sides. Vargas has shown plenty but a win over Brook vaults him up quite a bit.

A win over Vargas for Brook means the Brit gets a step closer to being considered elite. The Porter win was nice, but there's been nothing since. Great careers are built off of quality opponents. I'm not blaming Brook. I'm sure he wants to step it up and this would be a great chance against an opponent who is at the right place in his career for such a move.

Come on man, he fought Leonard Bundu's left overs in Frankie Gavin. He fought Selcuk Ayden's left overs with Jo Jo Dan. He fought Jo Jo Dan's left overs with Kevin Bizier, which means he will fight Fredrick Lawson next. Yes, that is right, he will avoid the actual viable IBF ranked contenders, and pick out another stiff to fight.
