Didn't realise he was 44 years old, part of me just wanted one of these guys to give him his final payday and just shut him up, but then I look at his age, resume over the last few fights and he hasn't really done anything apart from turn up and fighters whereabouts and talk a good game. He disrespect opponents of his targets by calling them names but he himself hasn't really done anything.Comment

Liakhovich at his peak was a B level fringe contender. Briggs won on a last second one punch knock out. That is the only B level (other than the Foreman gift) win of his career in around 60 fights. You take out the Foreman robbery & Botha draw (another robbery) who has he beat? He has barely any wins over C level journeymen. This is a guy who had done nothing & got 3 title shots... He lost to Darroll wilson & sedrick fields...Comment

He said he'd get Briggs on the undercard. DO IT! Get Briggs in there with a Euro-Journeyman like Gbenga Oloukan. If he beat him that would be his best win in a decade. David Price vs Briggs would be good but Haye is pretty cheap & he doesn't deny it. He said the reason he picked this guy was all the top guys want too much money. He is the draw & he wants to pocket as much money as possible until he gets a big money fight. I don't care if people like him or not he is a big part of the division & can dictate more than people realize. Obviously Haye accomplished a lot more but he reminds me of Joe Mesi. Joe Mesi had a great offence. Good arsenal & hand speed for a big guy. He had one punch knockout power but his beard was questionable. He could draw a pretty big crowd in his hometown of Buffalo. Lennox Lewis even considered him as an opponent strictly for financial reasons before Mesi's unfortunate injury.Comment

I'm down for the circus act. Bring it on! After Haye wins, and assuming Fury wins, then they should do a London heavyweight showdown.Comment
