Rooting for your fellow country man is understandable.

Only supporting and rooting for boxers of a certain skin colour or nationality and non other (which happens on here) is strange IMO. I don't see it as enjoying the sport to the fullest if you look at it that way.
I agree, boxing is a tough sport. I respect anyone that can do it well.

I got accused of being a bollywood lover by that nonce Dirk Diggler, just because i am a fan of Khan. So TS you are wrong, Brits do get hated on for supporting Khan probably because he's a ******. I say it as i see it.

Naz was like marmite over here as well, a lot of people hated him, to me he was the best thing since Hovis slice bread

On the flipside ive been labeled a ***** lover for my long support of Tyson Fury, back when it wasn't cool to support Fury, before all the bandwagoners jumped on.

My all time fav boxer Lennox Lewis was hated on by you Americans, you only hoped on to his knob after he retired
Lol. Look at you p4p list. They're all from the Uk. You shouldn't say anything, no comment at all. The purpose of his thread is too support your country.

I'm American and I agree. A group of blk guys take shots because I like Kov and Gennady. I'm a boxing fan. I respect skill. I don't care where the guy is from or what color his skin is. It's pretty balanced with me.

If they were more humble about things and didn't like a bunch of phags I wouldn't mind. I have been rooting for Andy Lee, Korobov, or Heiland to fight Lil'G because I want to see that Southpaw work. How does that translate to not liking white fighters?

Frankly, if Golovkin fought Froch or Chavez Jr. then I'll let the Brits or Mexicans worry about that and I'll criticize, but it's jack got to do with hating white fighters.

I think American boxing fans, second Brits, and then third Germans have the right to have mixed favorites because technically they're melting pot countries, same for Canadians...

When the Brits like Khan or Hamed do they hate "white" fighters in general? Makes no sense.

Get with it. And shame all you American girls that say its about race. lol. Your insecurities are weird, then again Trump voters are very open about their beliefs..
its pretty simple....if you show black pride, you're pro black...if you support others outside your race, you're an uncle tom

yet the usa media will support and hype up an immigrant before they will blacks, hispanics that are native to this land.

The united states was built on racial inequality, segragation, and propanganda.....it also has been apart of boxing from the get go

people dont like when black people point out the injustice that we deal with. Somone who benefits of it, will act like it doesnt exist.

All you have to do is go on this forum, youtube comments and face book and see why they have a provblem when black supports their own.

its an inferiority complex that a certain group of people have....this country was stolen, africans, asians, native americans built it. They never thought it would come to a point where those people had a choice....or a voice

                they'll get over it

nah bro. Trump fans, in 2016, shows a clear representation that it's still stronger than ever. Disco Demolition Night in 1979, all because nights clubs filled with Blacks and Hispanics and even a white minority stole a huge underground scene on how to enjoy music louder and better than the usual live act ''band performances,'' or in theory, was just way more fun and better than ''rock music'' which was predominantly white.

The behind the scenes of Disco Demolition Night, was MANY MANY people going to Comiskey Stadium with black music records that had nothing to do with Disco. For example you'd have Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Herbie Han****, or Paliament Funkadelic records being thrown into the pit of fire. I don't know how a random person could confuse those records with disco...lol You didn't see no Metallica records there by confusement..

We know what time it is, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon, unless double standards are soo good that new generations will refuse to be suckered for what's apparent. History has proven this progression, but in no time soon will it be gone, at least in my lifetime.

try not to laugh with this:

I think this is not about Ward though. They feel emptiness that their idol retired. And then he started talking smack about GGG (too basic, etc.). What was the point of this? Mayweather is too small to compete at MW. Nobody sane would hold it against him. But somehow he felt a sour taste that he retired and "didn't dare to be great" (I'm not insisting on this version, but there should be some explanation why Mayweather spoke about GGG). And his many fans also had these mixed feelings.
Now they are venting their frustration on Golovkin. They want to convince (mostly themselves) that GGG is a non-entity and does not deserve a mention. Add to this multiple Canelo fans, who are not blind and can imagine what is going to happen if their idol steps in the rind with GGG. All these groups suddenly became Ward fans.

I know this theory comforts you, but the jury won't buy it. Why? Because there's evidence that pre Willie Monroe Jr fight build up, Abel Sanchez and Loeffler were publicizing that they would go to 154 to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. They brought up Floyd name, just like ESPN fighter of the Year Rousey who got KTFO as well as McGregor.. Karma's a bitcch I keep saying. Only a matter of time...

But to add Lil'G in the mix with Floyd is even more funny. This is why Floyd makes fun of it. Before Lil'G even got some limelight there was 18 years and a man called Floyd in which boxing fans heard and saw all types of drama before. RealTalk doe
