Why are American Boxing fans criticized for liking "black" fighters?

Rooting for your fellow country man is understandable.

Only supporting and rooting for boxers of a certain skin colour or nationality and non other (which happens on here) is strange IMO. I don't see it as enjoying the sport to the fullest if you look at it that way.

I'm American but I won't support all American fighters just because of nationalism, ethnicity/skin color, or whatever. This is a hurt sport but also entertainment. If you cannot, or refuse to entertain the fans because you are too worried about losing your "0", and your dreams of becoming the next "money may", then I won't support you no matter where you're from.
