I havn't been this excited for a fight in a while-- It's gonna be explosive-- my prediction is the fight ends with a KO, either Mayorga before 6 or Oscar after 6---

you cant go with the logic of tito beat mayorga so oscar will, cause tito beat de la hoya also. Oscar has a pattern of slacking off in late rounds while mayorga puts pressure from round one to twelve. Remember Forrest was a great technical boxer and was supposed to be the next big thing after he beat mosley twice,
36-0 just signed a six fight deal with HBO (still owes what three fights) and then he fought Mayorga twice. Technical boxers aren't good in street fights. Which is what Mayorga brings to the table. I think after De la Hoya's recent fights and people talking trash about him, he wants to prove this to himself. Although I'm pulling for Mayorga, Being the first person to KO Mayorga will long be remembered if he can pull it off. The winner of this fight will be the fans. Its the first PPV in awhile that is worth $50.00

If you seen Forest-Mayorga fight Mayorga made Forest go toe-to-toe he couldnt have just fough like a boxer more then he would have won.

I know Mayorga is dangerous and all.But I still see Oscar boxing
circles around him.Even a past prime Oscar.Everyone always talks
about how dangerous Mayorga is before a fight, and then he goes
out there and takes a beating.Im just not falling for it anymore.

I've seen it many times. When you're a technical boxer and a slugger comes at you throwing bombs from wierd angles like mayorga does it confuses the techinal boxer. Forrest-Mayorga 1 forrest tried to go toe to toe and it didnt work. Forrest-Mayorga 2 Forrest tried to use more defense and looked like an ametuer doing so.

Mayorga only took a beating in one fight. Yeah he gets hit alot. But he gets he when he throws his big punches and his punches does more damage when he gets hit. He uses his chin as a weapon. If I had a chin like that I would do the same thing.

If you seen the Tito v De La Hoya fight you would know that apart from the Judges result you would have known that De La Hoya definately should have won that by decision even though I did think Oscar faded badly in the later rounds, I know that Mayorga has only really been hurt once and that was by Tito but apart from Tito really (and I Include Forrest) I would say that Ricardo hasnt faced anyone with the skill of De La Hoya and this is why De La Hoya will pick the Nicaraguan apart bit by bit several of the fighters Oscar has beaten would beat Mayorga easily i.e Vargas, Mosely, Trinadad, Quartey, Whitaker I mean c`mon guys lets put this fight into perspective

Yes Oscar gave the fight to tito but that was his own fault. Its ****** for a fighter to say oh I'm winning I'll take some rounds off and coast to a win. Forrest had alot of skill you can't take that away from him. Enough skill to beat Mosley twice and Mosley had enough skill to beat oscar twice. Oscar hasn't shown his skills in awhile, like I'll said Oscar is normal now. Nothing special really. But I will admit if the Oscar that stopped Vargas shows up May 6th. Mayorga is going to be in trouble.

Mayorga is training ver seriously for this fight (unlike vs Tito) and will pose a threat to De La Hoya. DLH is my favorite fighter active, but Mayorga can beat him.
