To be fair, that same argument is made here daily regarding 'lil g' and Ward. 160 pound guy ducking 175 pound guy...... What's the difference?

If boxing can survive the departure of Ali it can certainly survive the absence of a boring, coma-inducing wanker like Mayweather.

Boxing has problems because of your son. He could of passed the torch to thurman, porter or brook but opted for berto. Before that in the biggest fight in boxing history he performed the least engaging fight anybody has ever seen. Simply because of his "fu ck the fans i just fight for money" attitude. Especially with ufc now here boxing is definitely gonna have problems. Canelo is barely a ppv star cause boxing is struggling

I would have couched this sentiment in more delicate terms but the essential thrust of the statement remains entirely agreeable.

Passed the torch? Dont think any of those names could have beat him

"least engaging fight anybody has ever seen" Did you miss the Wlad/Fury fight? And last i checked it takes 2 to tango.

"Canelo is barely a ppv star cause boxing is struggling" Why do you want PPV model to succeed? And maybe Canelo struggles are from the fact that there seems to be a PPV on every month and fans are sick of paying for them in a world where streams can be used very easily

that doesnt matter if they win or not.He would of put a younger hungrier guy out there. Make him more popular in his "last fight" but he chose fu cking berto!? wlad/fury wasnt hyped up as the biggest fight in boxing history. **** wasnt even on ppv so nobody cared since they didnt have to pay for it. We need a ppv star to compete with the ufc stars. The fact canelo-cotto did 900k is pretty weak. mcgregor-diaz did 1.5 mil and the rematch might do more. Canelo-con (or anybody else) wont do 1 mil anytime soon. mike tyson said it perfectly here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMOktywExnA
Froids answer is pretty ****** which didnt surprise me
