Turned pro at 17 yrs old! Manny started at mini-flyweight 106 to Fly 112 to super fly 115 to bantam 118 and move up through the divisions to welter 147!
Aggressive pressure fighter who is capable of using outside boxing techniques.

duran started at feathweight and fought up to supermiddleweight

Jimmy McClarnin had similar dimensions to pac...Won the lineal ww title and beta hall of famers from 112-147

Joe Walcott was 5'1" and beat hall of famers and good fighters from 135-lightheavyweight
            ...lineal at ww
What manny did was impressive but it was not groundbreaking

boxing fans have short memories or lack the knowledhe of past fighters

Both are great fighters and Floyd beat Manny. Move on.
Against Morales, it was for the 130 title. You cannot go over!

Cotto was Manny's first fight against a true WW. While I would have preferred that he fought at 147 limit we need to remember that Manny was fighting at 130 the year before. All Cotto had to do is fight 1lb below what he weighed in his previous fight.

Now if Cotto was saying that he would be drained then you have a good point but in every interview he said one I stated and laughed at the question.

Here is what Cotto had to say about all that.
"Cotto, though, has no fears about taking the fight, even if it is at a catchweight of 145 pounds - two pounds less than he weighed in for his last outing

He added: "It doesn't matter if it takes place at 145 pounds. That was the weight we had said from the start. I will go up in weight by eight to 10 pounds (by fight night)."

Manny has the most man made resume of any fighter in history , nobody has as many special conditions as Manny , all the BS about Canelo not going to 160 is no different than Manny forcing Cotto to 145 for his title straight after a 147 drained Oscar was ok , Manny is a real good elite fighter whos team made weight draining a fine art .
Manny was fighting at 130 the year before. Then moved up to 147 to fight his first true WW in Cotto. While my preference was to fight at 147, all Cotto had to do in return was go down 1lb from his previous fight.

If Cotto complained and said it would drain him, then you have a point BUT he said the opposite. He kept on saying that he would come in the stronger fighter.

On the other hand, Canelo clearly did NOT want to fight at 152 and said it would drain him. In one of the episodes Canelo said that making weight was the hardest part of his training camp!!!

Now taking Canelo's statement into account PLUS the important fact that Canelo's walking weight was relatively much higher than Cotto, makes what you said very wrong. That is, Canelo had to rehydrate back up 20+lbs while Cotto said he would rehydrate about 8-10lbs. Which one is harder to do? Which one would drain you more?

So that is what Cotto wanted from the start.

Ive kicked your ass all over the shop on this BS , Im done with it , Manny proved to be a fake after all which Ive said he was all along , he lost and Floyd won and you cry yourself to sleep every night , live with it .

Manny is an excuse making rat with a gold tooth , he lost a bunch of times and I hope Bradley beats him this time and he retires , because not long after he retires the few remaining sour g**** Manny fanboys will also go away .

Floyd fcked your mind Ive never seen anything like it , he literary owns you .

We know that's wrong. Pacquiao is taller and has a greater reach than Bradley.
