Well he didn't have to go the Fury route but I think having the Olympic Gold kinda helps.

Fury is right. 5 years of pumping iron can give anyone a hard punch. He's built like a brickhouse, but no skills. Easy night for Martin and yeah he has to go for a KO, because he ain't wining on points in the UK unless he wants to be lynched.

Fury candidly told the media that Joshua beat him up in sparring when AJ was an amateur. I like Fury, but...

Fury claims Joshua is not ready to take on a "champion" in Martin because he is too inexperienced with only 15 pro fights and has no jab or skills. I'm just wondering what makes Martin so legit? He was basically given the IBF title which was stripped from Fury after he won by default when Glazkov knocked himself out. Before that fight, nobody even knew who Martin was. He is still an unknown quantity and completely untested.
Glazkov didn't deserve a title shot and neither did Martin. Glazkov was gifted decisions to go on to take what looked like a dive against Martin and Martin beat a bunch of nobodies to win a world title by showing up. Martin unexpectedly wanted to prove himself and deserves a lot of credit for going to the UK to face Joshua but he must know until he beats someone decent, he is the definition of a paper champ.
Given the way in which Martin obtained the IBF title, it is completely meaningless. Nevertheless, that doesn't stop the fight with Joshua, being between two unbeaten contenders, from being a big move in both their careers and undoubtedly a fan friendly fire fight.

By your logic Tim Bradley should be knocking people senseless. Punchers are born not made

Fury has come a very, very long way since Joshua was an amateur... right now Fury beats Joshua any way he wants. Joshua needs a good year or two under his belt and he has to get past Martin first.

Fury is just salty that AJ has a gold medal and good backing.

Joshua has very good footwork for a heavy weight. Not the fastest feet but he is always on balance when he punches which helps his power. Fury is always punching off balance and while he is jumping in mid air, hence why for a 6'9 250 lb man he has the punch power of a cruiserweight.

I used to like Fury a lot, but he talks out his ass so much. One day he hates boxing and wants to retire, the next hes a born fighter who lives to fight. And now he's claiming an olympic gold medalist has no skills...
