Kessler would be a stylistic nightmare for Calzaghe. Quick powerful hands and a safe cautious style with the best jab of the SMW. It is almost impossible to win a fight against Kessler on points and I doubt that Calzaghe would be able to stop Kessler. Kessler is also much physical stronger than Calzaghe, so Joe would not be able to bully Kessler around as he did against Lacy

man i want to believe you. iv'e only seen short video clips of kessler that were very favorable and have read good reviews by boxing scribes like pedro and others. you've obviously seen him in action and i appreciate your input. but on paper the guys only fought second tier compatition.and looked overvwelmingly good to all. hope he connects with calzaghe.but not much gain for the pain for a safeplayer like calzaghe.

I don`t think Kessler only fought second tier compatition

          Mikkel Kessler has beaten

          Eric Lucas (former WBC champion)
          Anthony Mundine (former WBA champion)
          Manny Siaca (WBA champion)
Dingaan Thobela (former WBA champion and WBO champion)
Julio Cesar Green (former WBA champion)

I don't care who wins as I'm not a fan of Calzaghe and have never seen Kessler.I just hope it's on american tv.I've heard a lot about Kessler and want to see if he's for real.I'd much rather see this fight than a fight with Calzaghe and a blown up jr. middleweight in Manfredo.

Kessler is still unproven what world class fighters has he ever faced?, really comon, yeah he looking good at the moment, but i can't see him ever being on JCs level not even a big fan off Jc but the guyss got alot off skills, i could see him beating Kessler pretty easy over 12 rounds.

On Team Palle’s home site it has been announced that Kessler will defend his title on the 9th of June in Copenhagen, so I guess that no agreement has been reached with Warren and Calzaghe this time
