Calzaghe to fight Kessler?

I don't know about that, although i haven't seen Kessler fight i've heard Russ Anber saying that this guy can take over the division.

I'd say heart will win this one, and I'm giving the edge to Kessler on this one and hopefully HBO/Showtime shows one of his future fights for free to introduce more Americans to him.

man i agree. on paper kessler looks weak but his style and heart would be a key.it would be nice if a calzaghe/manfredo turns out to be a big enough draw for hbo to want to back a calzaghe/kessler. but i don't see it. and calzaghes always been happy with the money he makes playing it safe at home. i take it he's fighting manfredo at home. anyone know? now this would be an easier fight for him to take to introduce him to the general stateside boxing fans. manfredo has a small following with that hoaky stallone baloney tv show.

Alot of people at Kesslers hometown ass ram him.. it's always the same with the Germans/Denmark fighters, they dont fight out of their home country, get GIFT decisions.. (Sven Ottke.. ahem) and retire undefeated as soon as they're forced to step up..

Why not fight a big name american for a decent payday on HBO or Showtime rather than going down a class for this protected German??? Joe should mop the floor with Manfredo then take out Tarver or Jones....it's not about balls, he proved he had plenty of those when he practically T-bagged your boy with them, it's about earning some decent paydays and cementing his legacy.

To be fair its about money, if I was Joe I'd fight Manfredo since Woods is tied up, and Tarver is as well, and Jermaine Taylor is as well (he could fight at super middle). If you were Joe you wouldnt fight Kessler or really want to he is not a big name yet and JC wont get more money for fighting him than he will for abusing Manfredo.
