man de la hoya don't deserve this fight at all........but man, i give it to de la hoya for being able to fight superfight after superfight, and in the process, 1. fighting crap, and 2. earning huge bucks....

As far as what Merchant says, it depends on how many drinks he's had. God that guy has a dream job. Get to watch free fights, drink and babble like an idiot sometimes. I want his job so bad. Margarito shows alot of talent, throwing bombs and boxing. I think he can develop more if he waited for a big fight. He still has alot of time to make big money. Floyd is all about money I think he is holding out for more. But no doubt Floyd is worried about the pressure Margarito will put on him.

The only reason floyd wont fight Margarito would be because of Delahoya but if you really think about it that fight probably wouldnt happen when they sit down and talk business (AKA Da Money$$$$) theyre both going to want the bigger peace of the pie and they both have history on turning down fights because of that! you know waht I mean???

I won't believe it until I see Mayweather sign the deal. There are always phantom deals out there. 8 million+ to Mayweather, and how much ppv revenue is he getting. I don't think Margarito is any bigger draw than Judah, so I don't know what Arum is expecting. He'd had to throw Margarito 1-2 million max if he even wants to make any money from the promotion. No one in the general public knows who the **** Margarito is, thats the bottom line.
