Name one fighter on GGG's resume at the caliber of Froch or Kessler when Ward fought them.

Andre Ward cleaned out one of the toughest divisions in recent history... And i mean he CLEANED OUT... Can't say anything else.

His opposition is not great at all.

He needs some big names man, and more title defenses or at least unify the division.
Not really a joke at all... If you pay attention to the fighters ranked 25-16, it's obvious that they put a lot of emphasis on title defenses and/or fighters who were champs in multiple weight classes.

Golovkin has 15 title defenses on the WBA belt (regular/Super). Combine that with the fact that he's undefeated and he makes the list at the bottom.

Why do you dislike Golovkin because of his "whiteness" (when he's half Korean) but you're a Canelo fan, who looks to be of Spanish European descent like many Mexican families, is probably the "whiter" of the two and by far more overrated and protected?

There is no way people would forgive Golovkin for facing Amir Khan while being offered a middleweight unification, for example. Canelo is held to very special standards and babied perhaps more than any fighter in the sport.

Just trying to see your logic here. A lot of people on boxingscene have interesting alternative definitions of race.

those title defenses are not legit..he didnt even win the WBA super title in the ring.

He held the regular title when Sturm held the real belt

so his defenses are not legitimate at all.....is Jacobs WBA trinket legit even though GGG has a belt too?

            nice alt though bro

            • Strange list. Golovkin came on the scene in popularity terms in 2012 when he beat Proksa, he's fought now 3 years with rising popularity beating some top 10 contenders Lemiuex, Rubio, Geale, Murray, Stevens, Macklin, Proksa and he's about to make his 2016 debut against Dominic Wade. This resume gets him a spot as a top 25 boxer from 1991 to 2016? That's amazing when he actually entered the ESPN top 10 P4P list in 2014, meaning he has 1 year and a half in it, and already that 1 year and a half in the top 10 P4P list gets him in the top 25 P4P list of the last 25 years

                  • This list keeps getting worse. They had Lennox Lewis on they list yesterday but not Tyson. Tyson's best win in the last 25 years was Razor Ruddock. Lewis beat Holyfield (twice) Ruddock, Morrison, Vitali, Akinwande, Tua, & Tyson. They are gonna rank Tyson ahead of Lewis. This list is a joke
