Okay, you think the small and slow Golovkin would be able to solve Ward's defense, even though bigger and better guys have failed to do it. Good on you, you are certainly not trolling. Do you also believe that Marco Huck could move up to heavyweight and beat Wladimir or Fury, lol?
Do fans want Golovkin to lose?

Ward and GGG have had completely different paths, it's not even fair to compare them at this point. And if Ward gets past Kovalev, that's going to set them apart more than ever, that will be Ward's second Ring/Lineal championship in the two weight classes he's been in. Their rivalry started back when Abel was calling everyone out from 154 to 168 but other than that, there's nothing that GGG has that actually rivals Ward, like Pacquiao and Mayweather.
We can only hope at this point to see 154-160 heat up and some good fighters start showing their skills at the top level so that they can become good, viable opponents for GGG. Those guys at 154 need to move up to 160 to chase the winners of Canelo/Golovkin when it happens. I would like to see Lara, Charlo twins, Williams, Andrade move up.Comment
