its just my opinion...p4p holyfield, whitaker, and lopez were better fighters

taking nothing away from him...he struggled when he didnt have a huge size advantage and that has to be considered.
Whitaker get's screwed in this type of ranking because it's the last 25 years so that's from 1991-2016 which means you really only have Whitaker from 91-97 because after the Oscar loss in 97 came layoffs, drug use, suspended from boxing and he never got anther win after 97 in boxing. So did Whitaker accomplish enough in 91-97 that surpasses what Oscar accomplished from 92 his boxing debut till he retired in 2008? I say no. If we were talking 25 years starting in 1984-2009 covering the span of BOTH fighters entire careers then I say Whitaker ahead of Oscar. But if the time frame is 1991-2016 then Oscar did more and has a win head to head.

I agree and he's not alone. Many fighters have a better resume in the last 25 years then GGG. And you can't be on a list like this when all you bring to the table is "potential" when other guys actually proved themselves and beat far better fighters.

Exactly. So does Carl Froch. And I'm sure I can come up with more. This list is absolute ****. And it's sad they gotta try to fit certain fighters in just because they are the "it" girls.

But it's really not. Holyfield is ranked ahead of Lennox Lewis & Lewis beat him (twice). But their reasoning is that Holyfield was out of his prime. But it was only two years after he fought Tyson. And who has Tyson beat since 91? And Mosley beat Oscar twice and he beat a prime Margarito. Oscar lost every big fight he was in. This list makes no sense. Tyson didn't beat anyone after 91 but he'll be ranked above Lewis & Holyfield.

                Gennady Golovkin

                Record: 34-0, 31 KOs | Years active: 2006-present

                Weight classes: Middleweight

                Titles: 2

                Top 3 signature wins: Grzegorz Proksa, TKO5, 2012; Curtis Stevens, TKO8, 2013; David Lemieux, TKO8, 2015.

Stats & Info: Golovkin has won 21 consecutive fights by knockout and made 15 consecutive title defenses, both of which are more than any other current champion in boxing.

ESPN's take: A bit early to write GGG's history, but he has the potential to go down as an all-time great middleweight. Golovkin still has a long way to go and a possible match with Canelo Alvarez might provide more evidence of Golovkin's true abilities. -- Wally Matthews

The worst batch of signature wins of anyone on this list and basically says he's on this list for potential of what we think his career will evolve to and because he has a string of KO's against tomato cans. SMH

Mosley career is not better then Oscar and I'm a huge Mosley fan. He basically feasted on Oscar's leftovers at lightweight. And maybe none of his wins over Oscar are valid. Atleast 1. The rematch everyone knows Oscar beat him and got robbed and even if you don't agree with the popular opinion that he didn't deserve the decision he ADMITTED UNDER OATH TO AVOID JAIL TIME that he took steroids for the Oscar fight. The fact that this fight wasn't and isn't changed to a No Contest is borderline criminal. And he is suspected to have been juicing around the time of their first fight. At best he has 1 creditable win over Oscar and many will argue that and beat the same lightweights Oscar did. He has the win over Margarito but seeing how terrible Margarito looks when he's not allowed to cheat and load his gloves not sure how great a win that is. The more time goes on the more Margarito looks like a fraud earlier in his career. Meanwhile Oscar has wins over Chavez, Whitaker, Quartey, Hernandez. And all the best fighters Mosley beat in the 90's Oscar already beat them almost a half decade earlier. His career was better.

That's why the guy at ESPN put that crap "it's not about accomplishments" Bradley's accomplishments crap all over golovkins.
