Glad Briggs was there to embarrass him on this. Haye wants to fight for a world title and this is the way he plans to get there? He may be able to sell out stadiums in from of his countrymen, who would buy tickets to his next bowel movement, but the rest of the world wants to see his finally put in an honest effort for once!

Pretty impressed with how well Haye handled this situation, even though he is taking on a low profile opponent he at least entertained the idea of having Briggs on the undercard and fighting him in the future. Briggs should have stayed more active in 2015 and fought anyone with a name. At 44 time is fast running out, this could be his last relevant year in the game.

Briggs hasn't been relevant since he should've lost to Big George Foreman in his final bout years ago. I have no idea how he is going to somehow become relevant. Everyone knows if he actually fights someone with a pulse he's getting knocked into the next century. I find him comical and entertaining but he's more of a boxing mascot than a serious competitor.

Briggs is stalking Haye like Haye stalked Wlad at airports, etc! Talk about a twist!

As awful as the Haye - whoever his name is fight is I'm not sure Briggs is better than him. Briggs was a B class Heavyweight when he was losing to Lewis, he hasn't been a good fighter since then. An extremely fortunate and lucky KO against Liakhovich kept his name alive. After getting absolutely pummeled by Vitali he has fought nobody and shouted 'let's go champ' in the hope of someone giving him some money.

Briggs is 44 years old and was already shot when a 40 year old vitali gave him brain damage 7 years ago.

He's funny and entertaining but if hate did fight him he'd get ripped on for it and he'd knock Briggs out in 2 rounds

I was surprised that he talked about getting him on the undercard. DO IT! Obviously it will be another C Level guy but why not? Haye is looking to move up & people forget Briggs is the WBA #7. de Mori was #10. If he fought & beat Briggs that is 2 top 10 WBA fighters he beat. I'm surprised Fedosov who is #5 wasn't the opponent. If the funds are there put Fedosov/Briggs on the undercard. WBA #5 vs WBA #7. Winner gets Haye in an eliminator. This Gjergjij guy he is fighting is #29 on Boxingrec & his best win is over denis bakhtov. That's a decent win but he got dropped & went 12. Haye will crush him. Get Briggs on the undercard & if they both win Haye should take that WBA #7 ranking from him in his next fight.

                  Briggs will come to fight.
It's easy for wee guys sat behind their keyboard to downplay Briggs. Briggs hung in there with vitali.VK was a beast & Briggs was fighting with an injury.
Briggs keeps busy but wants big fights. Haye assured fans when he came back that it was all about big fights...look at these 2 opponents he's picked, are they big fights?
Haye takes the boxing community & fans for idiots. It's understandable that he views fans as fools when they keep giving him a pass.

On boxingscene this is completely ignored.... Briggs clearly had one arm from round 2 and on yet more people took Pac's fake shoulder injury more seriously.
