Facts are boxing has saved thousands of lives , got people of the streets and motivated . It's a tough sport and things do happen now and then but it's the safest it's ever been with the doctors ringside etc

True, but let's not romanticise boxing too much – it does have the unfortunate effect of chewing many fighters up and spitting them out (money/health-wise, etc.) towards the end of their careers.
