That was a solid business maneuver by Oscar...
Golden Boy served up Lemieux (And his IBF World Championship Belt.) to GGG as part of the step aside agreement that allowed Canelo vs Cotto. (And Cotto's WBC World Championship belt.)
That IBF Middleweight Title (From Canelo's side) and the 800 thousand dollars GGG got (From Cotto side) was a sweet deal for GGG... But K2 can only publicly acknowledge the 800 thousand....
I realize Lemieux is fearless, but...
Didn't you find it strange that Lemieux didn't even make a voluntary defense or two before GGG ??? And not milk it like BJS...Comment

That's just delahoyas way of say Canelo is not fight GGG cause he is afraid to get his ass kicked lol. So let see if the WBC keeps there word on stripping or if they kiss Canelos assComment

Both Tapia & Lemieux weight issues
Tapia having a hard time making 154
Glen Tapia (23-2, 15 KOs) suffered the second setback of his career this past Friday when he was stopped by Michel Soro. The day before Tapia had issues making the 154 initially failing to make the weight. He came back hours later to the scale and made the limit. After his performance on Friday, Tapia admits that the weight was a problem and it made him feel sluggish. “I felt slow and sluggish,” Tapia said to BoxingScene.com. “I’m throwing roundhouse punches. Even though I won the 1st round and felt slow. I felt sluggish when I got here. It was in the back of my mind a little bit from the day before.”
Lemieux having problems making 160
Former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux created headlines this week for the wrong reasons. The boxer was scheduled to return to action on Saturday night in Montreal, in what would have been his first bout since getting stopped by Gennady Golovkin last October in New York City.
Those guys are just going to 155 to get a check , and get destroy in 3rd round by CaneloComment

Oscar said the same thing about Rosado. I don't think lemieux fights canelo next he just saying hey the winner might fight canelo to try and hype up their fight and maybe sell more ppvs. Just like there was never a shot that Rosado was fighting canelo in may. I think if GGG doesn't agree to canelo's terms he will fight cotto again in sept. I think that is the backup plan.Comment
