I couldn't agree more. As long as GGG is ready willing and able to knock out any middleweight with the guts to fight him no middleweight can be considered better than him unless they beat him in the ring.

At middleweight he does. If he drops to 154 that's not clear.

So far in his career, Canelo's wins are ho-hum. Not impressive.

Cotto was outsized and past his prime (though still very game.) Canelo outpointed him, but didn't dominate the smaller man.

His loss to Floyd was sheepish and pathetic. He didn't dare take the fight to him.

Now the whole school is standing in a circle around him and Golovkin shouting, "come on, man, eff him up" and all he can say is, anytime...except now....

At this point, yes he needs Golovkin on his resume.

He's running out of time. Canelo has set his terms, and if GGG won't budge then **** him... Canelo doesn't need him. We've already seen how they've exposed their double standards with the latest Abel interviews posted here recently. Canelo shouldn't give them the satisfaction by naming GGG, and just put a media blanket around them, keep them in obscurity because whenever Canelo mentions GGG you know Abel is happy that his fighter is getting exposure by being mentioned alongside a big star. This isn't hate, it's fact: GGG is no star and will never be without a big name. Sorry for the rant, but tired of Abel and GGG's underhandedness, they're insulting us and they're not being called out enough for it.
This is a "paid advertisement".... No honest boxing fan would write such ....

Disliking Abel and GGGs 'underhandedness' is a pretty poor reason for defending Nelo on this. Sure, the kid can get away with demanding the CW cos of his popularity, and likely he'll go on to have a very lucrative career without Golovkin - age is definitely on his side - but if he wants to campaign at MW Golovkin is the man to beat. Two wrongs don't make a right in my world.
