So why do Golovkin "fans" get so upset and throw fits when he's asked to do the same by critics?

He's cleaned out his division, or at least those who are willing to fight him (on his terms). His team has already stated they won't fight Canelo under his terms (who is the A-side), so that leaves him with no options. Why can't he move up 8 measly lbs to secure his greatness?

He should test the waters at 168 and see where it takes him

He should stay camped out at 160 and pray for a big fight down the line

My point exactly. These dudes criticize other fighters for their level of opposition but won't criticize GGG for doing even worse.

Exactly it was like all these ward "fans" who had Ward didn't need to move up from 168 even though he had cleaned 168 out. As soon as GGG cleans out 160 he needs to do the same

Very original thread, there has literally never been a thread in the history of NSB that has discussed Golovkin moving up in weight! Bravo man, bravo. I'm also happy to see your Golovkin obsession has not diminished at all, it's good to be consistent about something, even if that something happens to be hating on another man 24/7.

Thread has been done to death, yet there are still some who lack the courage to actually answer the question.

GGG is held to a lower standard than other fighters. I don't have a problem with him trashing middleweight after middleweight. At the end of the day, he is a middleweight. I just don't expect to see the people slurping his strudel to get on other fighters for not taking on challenges, not when those fighters accomplished more than GGG before they were fully bearded.

Then why the deflection? Why don't you answer the question instead of b*tching about "b-but d-dis thread already b-been made doe!"

The above is true and absolutely the problem. I see no problem with discussing the reasons why is he held to such a low standard?

GGG honestly does not have the style to move up weight classes, plus he is getting old. The guy has made some good money for himself and picked up a few titles. To be honest im not sure if he beats Canelo who imo is a more skilled fighter and has the higher ceiling
