I just don't get it, this fight shouldn't be this difficult to make. Poor Loma, can't seem to get a decent fight... tried both Rigo and Walters... what else can you ask from a guy.

LOL I hate kirkland too and notice he's a bum, BUT he's still a bigger and arguably better fighter than lemieux. Canelo also conceded alot of $$ to the A side cotto, so not only with Floyd. Also, how many fighters get pressured to take on a fight and they never do? Canelo fought Lara because he wanted too not because he was pressured. He went against the Oscar's will who was pleading not to fight Lara. And I am indeed a GGG fan, but I'm more a boxing fan and I'm unbiased. To say GGG is above canelo or any other P4P fighter when his toughest fight was lemieux is ridiculous and di.ck riders like you should wait until he fights the tough fights before declaring him next P4P king. There's literally no difference between GGG and Jeff lacy who at one point was the terror of the div, up until he faced stiffer competition and we all know how that ended. Dont get me wrong, I'm in no way saying GGG is the next lacy but until you prove it vs quality opposition, he still hasn't proven sh.it. just a media hyped killer

I'll put money on Lemieux beating Kirkland any day of the week, Kirkland is designed perfectly for that type of fighter. Cotto had a guaranteed purse RNS didn't require the concession of anything but Marquee name for that fight to happen because they just wanted their return on investment and were going that no matter the final numbers. They had already lost money on the first deal of that fight. You say he wasn't pressured, the rest of us who watched it unfold see it otherwise. By far and large public opinion will show if you post a poll that Canelo was pressured into that fight, even Oscar didn't want to make that fight.
