I thought he won vs Sosa but t was still a draw. Top rank already did Walters a favor by feeding him a shot Darchinyan and giving him a smaller man in Donaire. Now instead of meeting half way, Loma is going up to his weight. How in the hell can Walters ask for even 40% of the pot???
if gold medals meant anything in pro boxing everyone be oscar D hoya...rigo wouldnt be a nobody and ward would have plenty of ppv money by now...lomo is no exception..he lost bro..fan or not u have to keep it real. if u are chasing walters that means u need to pay walters..u dont have to drop your title. stay at 126 and fight nobody or pay legit fighters...

and TR didnt do lomo favors when he got two title shots in a row...the first was a voluntary so nothing in the wbo book stated that he should get another shot if salido missed weight....u you can only see it one way meanwhile u calling a former p4p fighter a favor lol...as if walters didnt run the risk of getting ktfo by Flash...yall must have forgot nonito aint no hoe

The fighter that moves up to a higher weight class should get paid more money, unless he's going up against a much bigger star (Like Canelo Khan). But seeing as Lomachenko and Walters are roughly on the same level, Lomachenko should get paid more because he's taking the bigger risk. He's the one moving up to 130 and he's essentially giving Walters the advantages. So the least they could do is pay Lomachenko more. That's the way it should be, otherwise what kind of incentive is it to move up if you're not fighting for a belt and the other guy wants to get paid the same amount as you do?
walters didnt ask him to move up..he wasnt talkin lomo..he was talkin uchiyama, but he shouldnt be bc that is fortuna's fight...i bet walters wouldnt get more money bc he was moving up for uchiyama...So that kills that BS argument.

and to kill your no belt argument: remember klimas "why fight walters he has not belt at 126 no more??" now its ok that he dont have no belt? now that is the fight you want? looks like media BS too me tbh...dont see that fight happening..Walters team knows he deserves more and that is why they are not settling..lomo has to take the Bside but i would advise him not to..i really dont know if he can beat walters..long jabs and he's pretty complete

Walters had his chance as an HBO main eventer against Marriaga and didn't deliver.

The undercard bout did better ratings than his fight.

Walters was back down as an undercard after that fight and did absolutely awful ratings.

HBO and Top Rank are both more interestd in Lomachenko than Walters at this point.

HBO probably doesn't have much interest in Walters outside of a Lomachenko fight (which they already don't seem to be all that interested in).

Let Walters walk away from this fight and see where that gets him.

and he won..the fight lomo coheadlined with salido wat did he do? LOST..
6 fights 1 loss already...i bet you walters wont budge and i dont blame him u wouldnt put in 28 fights worth of work to give A side advantage to a guy with 7 fights..salido didnt and the only reason russell did was bc the wbo granted to lomo bc salido missed weight..but they should not have bc he was not the mando..
i'll have you know that bob arum said hbo didnt even want to give lomo a date..that is why he's always on pac undercards vs bums...just being honest bro..go check it..he said they dont want to give dates for postol nor lomo...but thanks for the lie that you tried to get past me..that lets me know not to take you serious.

“We’d like to do that fight and we’ve offered a card to HBO,” Arum said. “We’ll do Lomachenko against Walters or anybody else HBO wants. They say they are considering it and we’re waiting to hear back.”

Two of Top Rank’s best fighters are featherweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko and junior welterweight titlist Viktor Postol, neither of whom have anything scheduled.

We’re still talking to Walters but it’s a Lomachenko date. We’ll find another opponent if Walters is not reasonable,” Arum said. “There’s a dialogue going back and forth but I can’t pay him what I don’t have. He’s off the million dollars but he has to come down. Look, I’m willing to do this for a slight loss but I’m not going to blow to my brains out.”

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is working on making two of the best matches that can be made in teh featherweight and junior welterweight divisions.

And yet the guy with 6 bouts has a world title and a network date, and Walters doesn't currently have either.
